NICK CANNON Quitting Morning Radio Gig After Blood Clots Found in Lungs

Nick Cannon says he could die if he doesn't pump the brakes on his career ... and the first step is  quitting his gig on a NY morning radio show.
Cannon tweeted this morning, "The Doctors found blood clots in my lungs and said if I don't slow down and stop working so hard then it's a wrap!" Doctors also discovered an enlarged ventricle in Nick's heart.
Due to the diagnosis, the 31-year-old announced he'll be leaving his job as host of the "Rolling with Nick Cannon" show on 92.3 in NYC.
Cannon  -- who will continue his gig with 'America's Got Talent' -- released a statement saying, "Under doctor's orders, I have been asked to cut back on some of my professional commitments to allow my body to get the rest it needs to keep up with the demands of my multitasking schedule."
He added, "Even Superman has to sleep."
It's not the first time Cannon has dealt with a medical scare -- he was hospitalized last month for kidney failure.

Fastest Man in Africa, Olusoji Fasuba joins Royal Navy

New Recruit, Olusoji Fasuba in training

Africa’s 100 meters record holder Olusoji Fasuba has qualified as a recruit to join the British Royal Navy as a logistics specialist.
Fasuba joined the Navy in May 2011 but had to take a 10-week initial naval training course and another 12-week professional course before getting his first posting within the logistics department at HM Naval Base Devonport.
The Athens Olympics 4×100 metres bronze medalist said he joined the navy because he wanted a more settled life for himself, his wife Ngozi and their seven-month daughter, Annabelle.
Fasuba said, “I’ve had a very good career in athletics and been there with the big boys, but I was looking to the future and wanted to settle. My father used to work for the Nigerian Navy, so from a young age it was all about the Navy. Some of my friends are serving in the British Army and tried to persuade me to join, but for me it had to be the Royal Navy. Training has been my way of life for a long time. Growing up in Nigeria discipline is very strict, so that aspect of being in the Navy wasn’t really a shock to me. It was tough mentally sometimes and I did question myself about what I was doing, but ultimately I wanted to do it for myself and my family.”

Oprah Winfrey May Return to Big Screen With Lee Daniels' Drama 'The Butler'

Oprah Winfrey could make an acting comeback in an upcoming drama called "The Butler". The talk show mogul is mulling over an offer to tackle a key role in the based-on-true-story film, which will be directed by "Precious: Based on the Novel PUSH by Sapphire" helmer Lee Daniels.
The movie tells the story of Eugene Allen, a black man who worked as a servant in the White House, serving eight presidents from 1952 to 1986. Winfrey is eyeing the role of Allen's wife. Should the deals be signed, she will mark her first acting in a live-action film since 1998's "Beloved".
In addition to Winfrey, several A-list actors have also been circling the project. They include Hugh JackmanMila Kunis and John Cusack. Multiple insiders said that Kunis is eyed to star as Jackie Kennedy while Cusack is expected to portray Richard Nixon. It is said that Daniels also wants "Red Tails" actor, David Oyelowo, to tackle the part of Allen.

"The Butler" is based on Wil Haygood's Washington Post "A Butler Well Served by This Election". It centers on the life of Allen, who started his career in the White House as a "pantry man" in 1952, when black people weren't allowed to use public restrooms in his native Virginia.

Allen ended up serving eight presidents and had a unique front row seat as political and racial history was made, from the Vietnam War and the civil rights movement to the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr., President John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy Jr. The original script was penned by Danny Strong before being rewritten by Daniels.

As for Winfrey, the 58-year-old philanthropist has also been attached to an untitled Michael Patrick King project, a dramedy set in the world of home network shopping, which also stars Meryl Streep and Sandra Bullock

Marvin Winans, the gospel singer and pastor who married Houston and Bobby Brown in 1992, will deliver the eulogy. After the service, Houston will be buried at the Fair View Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey, where her father was buried in 2003.

Beyonce Begins Work on Two New Albums

Beyonce performs at the MTV Music Video Awards in Los Angeles
Beyoncé may have given birth to her first child last month, but the singer is already planning two new projects to write and record in 2012. Ryan Tedder, OneRepublic frontman and co-writer of Beyoncé tunes such as "Halo" and "I Was Here," says that he and other producers are cooking up raw material that the singer will have the option to complete in the studio. "All I can say is, you kind of feed her the best that you have and she's this phenomenal filter and she takes it all in," Tedder said at the Grammy Awards ceremony on Sunday.

"The conversations about her next album literally just started and there [are] two projects happening," says Tedder. The songwriter did not divulge the nature of the projects, though he did mention that he is submitting songs about motherhood and that the singer is not planning to chase current trends in pop music. "She's not interested in 2012, she's interested in what's [going to sound good for] 2013."

It is likely that one of the two projects will be music for the soundtrack to Clint Eastwood's forthcoming remake of A Star Is Born, which will feature the R&B star as the female lead.

Though they're doing their best to remain amicable for the sake of their children Leni, 7, Henry, 6,Johan, 5, and Lou, 2, Seal and Klum, 38, have zero plans to get back together, they're trying to keep things smooth for the kids."
